Generally you should replace your air filter every 30 to 90 days on a pleated type of filter.
You may have to replace it more often if you have pets living in the house and if the duct and air vent aren’t properly sealed which will cause the filter to get dirty faster. Changing your air filter more often will help with the efficiency of the A/C equipment and help with fewer breakdowns.
